We wanted to go back to nature and to create a range that offers natural support for our children. Honesty is one of the fundamental reasons for the Pitta Patta range. Most consumers are unaware of the real contents in a lot of baby care products and while looking for products that were 100% natural for her son, Jago Alex was shocked to discover that products that claim to be natural have a number of ingredients that are not natural. One such ingredient raising concerns for Alex was parabens, which are often used to preserve products. “As I would not put parabens on my skin, why would I want to put them on my child’s”. There is scientific evidence to question the safety of parabens, even food grade types. Adults and children would be wise to avoid all products containing parabens.

Completely natural products have a shorter shelf life, much like the food we eat. We have a choice to eat real food that doesn’t last for weeks or to eat food that is chemically loaded giving it an extended shelf life regardless of what it means to our health. Apply the same logic to cosmetics, our skin has the ability to absorb 60% of what we put onto our bodies. At Pitta Patta we wanted to create a range that is real and ethical from the ingredients used to the packaging that contain the products.
