In May 2009 I attended a birth doula workshop obtaining a diploma with Paramanadoula, taught by the world-renowned perinatal expert and author Dr Michel Odent and Liliana Lamis. I am currently registered as a trainee Doula with Doula UK.

I was inspired by the two very different births that I experienced one a late induction for my son, Jago and a water birth at home for my daughter Willa. I have been working for 15 years as an Intuitive Naturopath and as I began to see more and more clients who were trying to become pregnant or were pregnant it seemed like the perfect solution to merge these two skills and offer my Doula services.

I am currently based in Lancashire, England and work as a Doula. My Doula package includes 3 home visits (one should include the father), continuous support during your labour and 2 visits after the birth. I will be available via telephone or email to answer your questions and help you throughout your pregnancy and postnatally.

The greatest gift I feel a Doula can offer you is the gift of allowing you to create a space that is sacred and honest so that you can empower yourself as a woman, in whatever birth path you choose.
